For the Zafimaniry, the house was not only a shelter.
Every carving in the wood told a story of belonging, harmony and relationship with nature.
The geometric decorations of doors, beams and furniture preserve an ancient tradition rooted in the Malagasy culture of the Highlands, still carrying traces of distant Austronesian influences.
